On Saturday the 12th of March it was time for the second open day. Between 10 and 15 o’clock the doors of all the NHTV academies were opened. The level of interest for the Attractions and Theme Parks Management track was high. Many guests visited the three academies where we were represented. For us as students and teachers it is nice to meet so many enthusiastic people who have a passion for the industry. For many of them this is the first step towards fulfilling a childhood dream of working in the theme park industry. We are glad that we could be them to encourage them to follow their dream and start their study at the NHTV.
Stay connected
Each year 40 students can start in the Attractions and Theme Parks Management track. These students can come in via three NHTV academies or, when they meet certain criteria, they start directly with the Attractions and Theme Parks Management track. This means that the competition in quite high. We, as students and teachers, want to give you a piece of advice: stay connected and stand out of the crowd! It’s so nice to see that everything went well! Next year, if everything goes right, I’m going to the NHTV, and I’m going to study leisure management. I’d love to do the track ATPM in the second year, cause I’ve always had the child dream to work in or around theme parks (and I’ve got a million more reasons to chose this track). But I’ve got a question, if there are too much people who want to do ATPM, how will they select people? Cause if I’m not able to do this track, I won’t know what to do.. I really love seeing all blogposts and pictures on Facebook, Instagram and more! I’m curious and a little nervous for next year. But I’m really looking forward to it! Love, Fabiën.

Thank you for the positive feedback. The selection for ATPM will be made based on an interview, English test and a motivation letter. Just stay focused and be yourself.
